The Bean Bar Co. is a coffee shop in Tampa, Florida. It is listed at 17018 Palm Pointe Dr, Tampa, FL 33647, which places it among the local businesses of Tampa that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 6 am–5 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (813) 442-7699. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, beanbarco.com.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 533 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded coffee shops in Tampa.

Tampa is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Tampa peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I walked in and wasn’t greeted but figured they were busy in the back, waited a couple mins and yelled “hello?” And then a women from the back says “hold on one second” after a min she walked up the front and still didn’t greet or acknowledge me. She rearranged some muffins in front of me still without making eye contact or saying anything to me. After an awkward minute she says “what can i get you” i said do yall have Frappuccino’s? “No” just a flat no, no suggestion or anything. I’m like okkkkk this is just an awful interaction. I then ask can I just get an iced coffee hazelnut. “Yes” continues to ring me up and makes it. I received my old tasting coffee and left. My coffee takes old and I’m wishing i would have just walked out in the beginning. I understand we all have miserable days but I’m the only person in your coffee shop, you could at least act like you want your customer here. I’m sure she’s not the owner because you can tell she truly didn’t care about her customers or the store. The reviews had looked good but i left with a cup of sadness that I’m going to throw away. As a business owner myself, I would be careful hiring employees like this because small time business o

Great gem of a place in New Tampa, worth the stop! We hosted a Coffee and conversation here where our main topic was about how to make infrastructure investments work more efficiently for our community. The staff was very friendly and the ambiance was memorable, highlighted by the artist Ryan Panco. @paintingsbypanco If you need some energy to rush through your day, ask for the “Irish Nutcase!” Bagel breakfast sandwich was a hit with my team. #greatcitiesaredesignedTarynSabia #taryn4tampa #tarynsupportslocal #tarynformayor Go check them out!

So I’ve given this place many chances because it is close to where I live . But last time there was a blond hair in my avacado toast and the bread was stale . Today the attitude of the female barista was just too much , no eye contact not friendly what so ever , she was like this the last time I went but I said whatever. It seems that this is just her normal. Btw this was at 2:30 just so owner knows . The guy at the cash tho was super friendly. To run a successful business you have to have welcoming staff. I’m willing to drive an extra ten to fifteen minutes just to have someone greet me with a better attitude.

I found out about this cafe over three weeks ago. It's nice. This is a nice coffee shop to read or meet up with friends. The price is not bad. 😎

Excellent coffee, staff and food! It’s a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Non dairy options are delicious as well. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato with almond milk & a buttered croissant. The almond milk is creamy and delicious 😋 the croissant was fresh, flaky, light and fluffy! I highly recommend giving The Bean Bar Co a try if you’re passing by or in the area!
